It’s our last day, and fittingly enough we’re talking about PRIORITIZING.
In all of the things we’ve talked about this week…Pray, Serve, Move, Breathe, Talk, and Relax…the only way we’re ever going to get to do any of them is by prioritizing.
We first have to prioritize ourselves. I know I tend to want to be the martyr – look at all of the stuff I do, see how selfless I am, see how I put everyone else ahead of myself?! But that’s not helping anyone. If I’m too run down, too tired, too cranky, than all that stuff I’m running ragged to do isn’t actually what my family needs.
My family needs me!
They need me to sit and laugh with them more than they need laundry folded.
They need me to be calm in the face of conflict more than they need a home cooked meal every night.
