Here we go, day 1! This week I want to explore seven different ways we can be our best selves.
Because being a mom is a tall order, a big responsibility and the only way for us take it on is to be at our absolute best. For our families, yes, but really for ourselves.
Day 1 is PRAY
We all need a spiritual connection, it allows us to find a peace, to recognize something bigger than ourselves.
Do you know what happens when life creates stress, drama, trouble, trial. You feel the pressure. If you don’t have a release valve, eventually you explode. Emotionally, physically, spiritually, you break.

This is true for all of us, all of the difficulties of life build up and prayer is how we let it all go.
In moments of frustration, in times of fear, when we don’t know what to do next or how to move forward…we need to pray.
When we’re filled with joy or excitement, in those moments our sweet little ones smile up at us…we need to pray.
Prayer provides an outlet, a release, hope and peace. I tend to want to figure things out myself and I forget about prayer until I almost reach that breaking point, and then it all comes pouring out and I’m amazed at how different I feel afterwards. I go from the heights of stress and then find myself able to take a deep breath again.
So try it out this week, let me know how it goes! My prayer this week will be for patience, for wisdom and for some dang sleep!
